Deuteronomy 6:1-7:11; Ecclesiastes 8:1-9:10; Luke 8:22-39

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

The path to effective prayer begins first with confession of sin. Once that obstacle has been overcome, then prayer for one another is opened and healing occurs, especially in spiritual ways. To be on “praying ground” is to be on solid ground and makes it possible for the Lord to work in the most difficult of situations. Keep praying—solid ground! —Mark Kolchin

Thou art coming to a King,
Large petitions with thee bring;
For His grace and power are such,
That none can ever ask too much.  —John Newton
