To support the National Health Service in the UK, retired Army officer Tom Moore felt compelled to raise funds. Given that he was 99 years old, and confined to his home and yard, his options seemed limited. He decided to walk 100 laps of his garden by his 100th birthday in order to fundraise £1,000.
