Leviticus 9:1-24; Psalms 109:1-110:7; Mark 1:21-45

Who (the Lord Jesus Christ) is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality…to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. 1 Timothy 6:15-16

If all humanity could combine its most profound thoughts we would have only begun to explore the infinite riches of God’s character. Let us therefore, “Take [the] sandals off [our] feet” (Ex. 3:5 NKJV) and stand in awe as we consider His attributes and rejoice that we have forgiveness of sins through His Son. —Richard I. Bishop

While here, alas! I know but half His love,
But half discern Him, and but half adore;
But when I meet Him in the realms above,
I hope to love Him more, praise Him more,
And feel and tell amid that host divine,
How fully I am His, and He is mine! —Henry F. Lyte
