Leviticus 14:33-57; Psalm 119:41-72; Mark 5:1-20

Then said the Lord, Doest thou well to be angry? Jonah 4:4

Many believers are in very difficult circumstances. Whether it is persecution, a health crisis or broken relationships, life is hard for them. Feelings of anger and resentment against the Lord can creep into people’s hearts when they don’t understand His plan and purposes. Perhaps the difficult things the Lord has allowed into your life have a great purpose yet to be revealed. Bring your anger to the Lord! He may not remove the difficulties, but He has promised to give grace to help in time of need. —Sid Halsband

God, we’ve known such grief and anger, as we’ve heard your people cry.
We have asked you, “How much longer?”, We have sadly wondered, “Why?”
In this world of so much suffering, may we hear Your Word anew:
“I will never leave you orphaned; I will not abandon you.”  —Carolyn Winfrey Gillette
