Ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. Deut. 5:32
Thus have they loved to wander. Jeremiah 14:10
Jeremiah 14:10 is certainly not the epitaph the Lord wishes to be engraved on His people’s lives. To stand and ponder the world’s enticements invites danger, enabling Satan to cause once careful feet to wander. In times past we may have walked according to the course of this world, but now “we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Eph. 2:10).
