Often it is genuinely asked, “If God is all powerful and loving then why is there so much suffering in the world”? Although it is often a product of sin, suffering is still a difficult subject to come to terms with, especially for those who are in the midst of pain and trial. Why does the Lord allow His people to suffer? We may not know His reason yet, but we do know this. God is kind. God is all powerful and He has a purpose in my suffering. —Sid Halsband
