Joshua, whose name means “Jehovah is Salvation” asked God to stop the sun in its travels. God did, and Joshua was victorious in battle. “The Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man” (Josh. 10:14). The Son of God cried at Calvary, but the heavens were brass.
