As his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff. 1 Samuel 30:24
David declared an important principle in the work of the Lord. Supporters on the home front are just as vital as the soldiers on the front lines. Many people serve the Lord in invisible, behind-thescenes ways, often supporting a much more visible individual or ministry. But God will reward the hidden servant with the same reward as the prominent servant. Spiritual victories are shared with those that tarry by the “stuff” as much as those that go down to the battle. —Sid Halsband
Anywhere with Jesus, over land and sea,
Telling souls in darkness of salvation free;
Ready as He summons me to go or stay,
Anywhere with Jesus, when He points the way. —Jessie B. Pounds
