2 Kings 2:1-25; Jeremiah 35:1-19; Hebrews 7
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; Yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
Fear is endemic in this world, yet believers take their anxieties to the Lord, who promises: “Fear not”. This command stems from His work of bringing His sons to glory. Because of His death, resurrection, and ascension, we are safe in His almighty hand, and will surely be in the Father’s house with Him (John 14:1-3). No physical, spiritual, or emotional distress can separate us from the Prince of peace. —Keith R. Keyser
May our journey be the brighter,
And our soul at rest down here,
Til we reach our home in glory,
Where our hearts will never fear! —D. A. Cetola
