We naturally value “mountain top” experiences in our spiritual lives, and we often consider “the valleys” as low points. However, many of God’s children will testify to the fact that the valley experiences make us look to the Lord in our difficulties. These God-given experiences also remind us that it is in the fertile valleys that we grow. —Brian Russell
