Rejoice in the Lord. Psalm 33:1
I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3:18
Rejoice in the Lord always: again I say, Rejoice. Philippians 4:4
Joy is an evidence of a new life in Christ, a fruit of the Spirit. There certainly isn’t much cause for joy or rejoicing around us in this sin cursed world. In spite of such circumstances, joy can and should characterize the believer. A dear sister, recently widowed, exuded the joy of the Lord in spite of her loss. Her comment was: “I choose joy”. What a testimony! —Wm. H. Gustafson
Joys are flowing like a river,
Since the Comforter has come.
He abides with us forever,
Makes the trusting heart His home. —M. P. Ferguson
