This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory. John 2:11
Our Lord’s first miracle wasn’t in the Temple or Herod’s Palace. It wasn’t even in the city of Jerusalem, but in a lowly Galilean village, at a simple family wedding! Often the Lord’s dealings with us are in our everyday activities. His presence and power resolved a pressing need and enabled all to end well. Above all, it revealed His glory, and “his disciples believed on him” (John 2:11). What miracle of grace will we witness in the seemingly routine events of our life today? Have your eyes open to it. —Pete Smith
But O the more we learn of Thee,
And Thy rich mercy prove,
The more we long Thyself to see,
And fully know Thy love. —E. Denny
