In the story of Ruth, a beautiful theme we see is Ruth’s passion to stay at Naomi’s side. Their close relationship was noticed by the kinsman-redeemer, Boaz (Ruth 2:11). How much more should we cling to our Lord Jesus Christ. He is our life and He gives us complete life. “For in Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). Our Kinsman-Redeemer loved us so much that He went to the cross for our forgiveness and eternal life. Cling to Him! —Annette Baal
