Was Job’s changed attitude in response to past sins only? Or had his eyes been opened to see himself, for who he was before Almighty God? While the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from every sin and justifies us before God, our nature has not changed. There are hard temptations from the outside, but the most difficult challenges lie within us. Praise God when we see Him, we shall be like Him, but not until then. The desperate need of the day is to judge inward, as we look upward. —Doug Lewis
