Abraham loved his son but was willing to sacrifice him, and God acknowledged Abraham’s love for Him because of it. We are shown God’s amazing love for us when we look at Calvary’s cross and see the Lord Jesus, God’s beloved Son, dying there for our sins. Let us praise and thank Him for such love. —Mary Robins
