It had taken 38 years to get to this point. All that time the Israelites had pitched their tents, collected their manna, and waited, as a generation died. Perhaps many had resigned themselves to waiting for the rest of their lives, when suddenly God declared “This day.” The wait was over. It was time for next steps. Are you in a period of waiting on God. Do you feel like you’re going in circles or perhaps not even moving at all? Have faith. God has not forgotten you.
