He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “…do this in remembrance of Me.” Luke 22:19 NKJV
I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you. 1 Corinthians 11:23 NKJV

The Lord, on the night He was betrayed, asked His disciples to remember Him. Later He made the same simple request to the church. Still today, we have the privilege to take bread and wine and remember Him. How can we forget His great love, His intense suffering, His crown of thorns, His body bruised and put to shame, His pierced hands and feet and wounded side. Will you remember Him today? Thank Him for His great salvation! —Jim Paul

He no sound while bearing my sin, cries not to be free,
With thankful heart I’d remember Thee. —Margaret L. MacDonald
