1 Samuel 17:32-18:5; Isaiah 58:1-14; Romans 4:1-22

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

The Creation account presents God as all-powerful, all-wise, and abounding in goodness. But Satan raises two questions in Genesis 3. Is God really good? And can God’s Word really be trusted? The evil one was successful with this line of attack then and still today he deceives and distorts with these same insinuations. And many are happy to suppress the evidence that God has plainly given to the contrary (Rom. 1:18-20). But to those who seek Him diligently, He still demonstrates His grace and goodness. —David Wilson

If with His love He befriend thee. —Joachim Neander
