2 Kings 23:1-37; Lamentations 3:1-66; 1 Timothy 6:1-21
As I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Joshua 1:5
We have a choice to make every day; we can live in defeat or victory. Blessings are provided and given by the Lord, but we must take and use them. We go from purposeless living, to Christian victory when we take hold of the truth and live in holiness and reverence, serving Him. Obedience to the leading of the Spirit will guide us and preserve us from the destruction of sin. Do not doubt God’s infinite ability to use a surrendered soul empowered by His strength. —Gaius C. Goff
Courage is armour a blind man wears;
The calloused scar of outlived despairs:
Courage is fear that has said its prayers. —Karle Wilson Baker
