Exodus 12:21-51; Psalm 45:1-46:11; Acts 6:1-15

Whatever things are true…noble…just…pure…lovely…of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Philippians 4:8 NKJV

Flamingos are grey when they are born. They turn pink from the high levels of beta-carotene in their diet of brine shrimps and bluegreen algae. Their unique bills are used upside-down to filter feed, separating mud and silt from their food intake. This reflects a spiritual truth: we are what we eat! Our Christian walk will manifest how much
we’ve been feeding on the Word of God. The more we digest it, the more we will be changed to reflect His character. We also need to “filter feed,” rejecting what is harmful to our spiritual purity and growing in spiritual maturity. —Olive Wilson

Take time to be holy, speak oft with thy Lord;
Abide in Him always, and feed on His Word. —William D. Longstaff
