And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. Hebrews 9:27, NKJV

This solemn warning is given to those who have never repented of their sin nor accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their substitute. On the cross of Calvary, the Saviour bore the sins of the world, but to be born again is a personal matter. The Lord Jesus said to Nicodemus: “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7, NKJV). Have you ever cried out from the depths of your heart and confessed: Christ Jesus died for me? —E. MacLelland

It was for me, yes all for me,
O love of God, so great so free,
O wondrous love, I’ll shout and sing,
He died for me, my Lord and King. —J. M. White

And Elijah came near to all the people and said, “How long will you go limping between two different opinions? 1 Kings 18:21

There is a saying in Luvale, “You cannot cross the river by having one foot in the canoe and one foot on the bank.” In other words, “Make up your mind.” Since Jesus Christ is God, and died for you to make the way to heaven, come aboard by trusting Christ now. Give Him your allegiance; abandon the eroding bank of sin. What must you do to be lost? Nothing! If you remain undecided, you will lose both Christ and the world. —David Croudace

Sinners, turn; why will you die? God, your Saviour, asks you why;
He who did your souls retrieve, died Himself, that you might live.
Will you not His grace receive? Will you still refuse to live? —C. Wesley

DAILY READINGS: Ex. 29:38-30:10; Ps. 78:1-31; Acts 17:16-34

They said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act…” John 8:4, NKJV

Some people think they are too sinful, too far gone for God to ever forgive them. Our Lord ministered to this woman who had been found in the act of adultery. One of the last people He comforted was a condemned thief. God loves you no matter what sin you have committed. He wants you to turn to Him. The thief on the cross asked the Lord Jesus to remember him and Jesus told him that he would be with Him in paradise. Turn to the Lord Jesus and accept the salvation He lovingly offers. —M. Robins

Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me;
And that Thou bidd’st me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God I come! I come. —Charlotte Elliot

DAILY READINGS: Exodus 29:1-37; Psalms 76:1-77:20; Acts 17:1-15

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. John 3:36

And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15

Someone said to me one day, “How could a loving God send people to hell?” My response was, “You’re right, God is love. But, God is also holy. He hates sin. He cannot allow sin into His heaven. God does not send people to hell. If you choose not to believe on His Son, God simply honours your choice.” Make the right choice. —Bob Cretney

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation. Hebrews 2:3, KJV

Sixteen-year-old Jonathon Vowles plunged 790 meters after his parachute failed to open properly. When he crashed through the skylight of an airfield hanger, his parachute lines caught on the frame of the broken skylight, and Jonathon was left dangling less than a meter above the concrete floor. Fortunately he escaped death. However, for those who in their folly reject Christ, there is no escape. “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). Will you escape today? —Arnot P. McIntee

Time is gliding swiftly by, Death and judgment draweth nigh,

DAILY READINGS: Ex. 27:20-28:14; Psalm 73:1-28; Acts 15:36-16:15

Let them alone: they are blind guides. Matthew 15:14

We once were blind, but our blessed Saviour gave us sight. The Spiritual pride of the Pharisees caused them to refuse to acknowledge their blindness. And pride is sin. Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains” (John 9:41). Men believe what they want to believe. God gave and respects that freedom of choice. Therefore, “let them alone” is the recognition of a choice that will determine their eternal destiny. Have you made your choice? —Vernon Markle

Choose now, just now! There’s a soul at stake! Oh what
will your answer be? Tis life or death; and the choice you make;
Is made for eternity. —H. Fithian

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened…and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20:12

Foolish man casts judgment on God and His Son, but here is His final judgment on them. Continued disregard for divine mercy and grace will eventually yield these sad and horrible consequences. No one is exempt as both small and great stand before God to hear of the “things…written in the books.” Dear reader, don’t ever think that you will escape this fate. Heed the sure word of Scripture and turn to Him today! —Mark Kolchin

Tell those who are invited…everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast. Matthew 22:4

This parable illustrates God’s invitation to anyone who hears— Come. To those who are still in their sins, He says come to me for salvation. His purposes for the day of grace will soon be accomplished and we will be called home to the marriage supper of the Lamb to meet our Bridegroom in person. “Go your way, sell whatever you have…follow Me.” But he… went away sorrowful. Mark 10:21-22, NKJV

People today clamor for money. They think that wealth will satisfy. But there is something far more important than money, and the Saviour told this rich man that he lacked it. The most important thing in your life is not wealth but your soul’s salvation. To trust Christ as your Saviour is the only thing that will satisfy. Sadly, this man wasn’t prepared to do that. He literally turned his back on the best Friend he could ever have. The Lord Jesus loves us and died on a cross to save us. Don’t reject Him; trust Him today. —John M. Clegg

Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now. He will save
you, He will save you, He will save you now. —John H. Stockton

DAILY READINGS: Exodus 24:1-18; Psalm 68:1-35; Acts 13:26-52

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6

To come to God requires two things. First, we must believe that He is, that He exists. Nearly everyone believes this. But, that’s not enough. We must also believe that He will reward those who seek Him out. Call upon Him in faith for salvation, knowing that He will respond. Then, for spiritual growth, don’t grow weary in your prayers, nor in your passion for living for Him. Seek Him in every situation. He is there. He will reward. —Rex Trogdon
