Harold Smith lives in Nova Scotia, Canada, with his wife Erma. They have been married for 67 years and have six children, all of whom have made professions of salvation. They also have many grandchildren. He became a Christian sixty years ago (1952), by reading the Bible and a booklet called “God’s Way of Salvation.” He came to Christ as a lost, guilty, hopeless sinner, and put his trust 100% in his Saviour from sin and Lord of his life. He immediately started personally witnessing to neighbours and friends. His occupation at that time was that of a door to door salesman and this greatly assisted him in his work of visitation and meeting people. He has been actively engaged in the ministry of the gospel by visitation, tent work, and radio broadcasting. In 1975 he was commended by the Christians of the assembly in Lower Argyle, Nova Scotia, and has been engaged in full time gospel work and ministry in assemblies and at conferences. At eighty-seven he is still teaching and preaching Christ to sinners and saints.
