John de Silva is a preacher and teacher of God’s Word in the assemblies in Victoria, Australia, and has also served in other countries. Saved while a teenager, he now takes a particular interest in the spiritual direction of young believers and also tertiary education students, working among them as a senior lecturer in Economics. In addition to several professional publications, he has recently published a Christian biography called Saved to Serve, the proceeds of which are being used to provide Bibles for the needy.
