Les Rainey was born in 1914 in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. Born again while attending an Inter-Varsity Camp in Northern Ontario he was baptized and received into assembly fellowship at Bethel Chapel, Brantford Ontario. Commended by the assembly to the work of the Lord, he has faithfully served for over half a century. Les was trained at Dallas Theological Seminary, the University of Edinburg, the King’s College of London and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He served the Lord as a missionary to: Bermuda, Israel, and Africa for over 50 years, which included time in Kenya, Zambia, and Botswana. Les has traveled extensively preaching and teaching the Word of God. At present he is living in Augusta, GA, USA.

Robert Estevez MD, F.A.C.C. is a cardiologist, born in Uruguay. He lives and practices medicine in Amarillo, Texas.  He is married to Elizabeth and they have three children. Dr. Estevez has taught at Bible conferences in the United States, Ukraine, Mexico, Honduras and Uruguay. He has been a regular speaker on an international Bible radio program. He is also the author of A Physician Examines the Miracles of Jesus and When God Does Wonders.

Charles H. Waller, M.A., D.D., was tutor of the London College of Divinity and served at St. John’s Chapel, Hampstead, England. He authored other books, including The Silver Sockets and Shadows of Redemption.

Robert Lehmann is currently an elder at Three Oaks Bible Chapel in Macon, Georgia. He has taught in various churches extensively throughout the eastern states and shared in a music ministry with his wife in Christian concerts throughout the country. His other ministries include helping establish a Hispanic church now known as Victor Street Bible Chapel. He holds a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife live in Warner Robins, Georgia and have two grown children.

Rick Morse is an elder at Cambridge Christian Assembly in Nova Scotia, a regular contributor to Choice Gleanings, and enjoys the privilege of an intinerant teaching ministry in the Maritimes. He maintains employment in retail management, and resides in New Mines, Nova Scotia with his wife Ann-Jane. They are the parents of two grown boys, Luke and Timothy.

Edmund Hamer Broadbent was born in Lancashire, England, in 1861. Through his personal study of the New Testament while still in his teens, he was convinced of the need to follow the pattern for the church found there. In his early twenties, business took him to Berlin, where he began a long and fruitful ministry to believers all across Europe and into Asia. His travels and research made him aware that since apostolic times there had always been movements to form local churches after the apostolic pattern, and he felt it would be useful to collect what could be known about them in an orderly sequence. This resulted in the publication of The Pilgrim Church. Broadbent was active in ministry until shortly before his death in 1945.

John Williams hails from England where he received his formal and theological education. He and his wife Audrey live in Victoria, BC, Canada and enjoy their family, including four teenage grandchildren. They have served in evangelism and Bible teaching ministries in various parts of the world. John has written several books including: The Holy Spirit: Lord and Life-Giver, Living Churches, Men Moved by the Spirit, Prayer Moves Mountains Get Yourself Baptized, and God’s Word is Alive!

Gaius C. Goff was born in Forest Grove, OR to a Christian family. As a young man he was invited to spend a summer helping in gospel work in Newfoundland. There he met his wife, Linda, and ended up spending 25 years there. He worked with George Campbell preaching the gospel and teaching believers. Together they were involved in the planting of several assemblies. During that time, Gaius and George became very close personal friends, continuing to be so until George was promoted to glory. The Goff’s have now been serving the Lord full time for over 45 years and minister throughout the US and Canada. They have a special interest in discipling new believers, often taking younger people with them on their travels. Gaius and Linda now reside in Forest Grove, OR. They manage to find some time to enjoy their five grandchildren.

Francis Ridley Havergal was born in 1836 in England to Anglican parents. She is most well known for her hymns including: Take My Life and Let it Be and I Gave My Life for Thee. Havergal struggled with poor health throughout most of her life and died at the early age of 42. Her sisters were responsible for publishing much of her writing posthumously.

Brian Gunning, his wife, Marlene, and their four daughters live in St Catharines, Ontario where they fellowship at Brockview Bible Chapel. Brian is an elder, and has an active preaching ministry in addition to serving on the boards of several Christian ministries.  He has his own accounting practice.
