Following a performance in Calgary in 1978, Alan Parks was approached by Jerry Scott, the president of Word Records, Canada. That meeting led to a deal with Word. “Spend A Day With Me” was the first project recorded by Alan for the Image VII label of Word. Upon release, and to the amazement of Alan Parks, the album was available for purchase in every store in the world that carried Christian music.
“Spend A Day With Me” is composed of 10 traditional hymns, as sung by Alan Parks.
