Description

The Feast of Tabernacles was the seventh of the annual celebrations which the Lord commanded Israel to keep. It was also the most joyful. It came like a week’s vacation; the people lived in little shelters, made of grass or branches, and made sacrifices every day.

This feast became more relevant to us when the Lord Jesus went to Jerusalem with many of the people. In the middle of the week He began to teach, saying that God sent Him. But on the last day, He made a grand promise that anyone could come to Him for satisfaction, and any believer could be a great channel of blessing.

In this booklet, the author shows the importance of this feast in the Old Testament, as well as for us now from the New Testament (John 7). He hopes that it will be a blessing to many, and make them a blessing to others.

Robert E. Harlow,a long-time commended worker, went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2003, five days short of his 95th birthday. He was co-founder of Emmaus Bible College, now located in Dubuque, Iowa, and founder, along with his wife, Gertrud, of Everyday Publications, Inc., in Port Colborne, ON. Dr. Harlow wrote more than fifty books. His book, Can We Know God? (1958), was the first of a series of books he wrote in simple, “Everyday” English. It has sold some 500,000 copies in more than a dozen languages. A native of Toronto, he was also a missionary in the Belgian Congo.
