Description
This set of 3 Daily Devotions by Jabe Nicholson include:
- Seed Thoughts – The Lord of the Harvest did not say the fields were sparse. He said they were ripe and ready for harvest! It was the workers who were in short supply. This Seed Thoughts Daily Devotional is intended to encourage and equip those already in the field and inspire the rest of us to join them in the happy harvest. The book includes: *Remarkable testimonies, *Explanations of gospel concepts, *Answers to frequently asked questions, *Stories of real-life witnessing opportunities, and *Encouragements and tips for sharing the gospel.
- Christ All and In All – Who would you call first – in a financial crisis? – If your neighbor is seeking God? – If your GPS can’t help you find the way ahead? – When your health suddenly takes a turn for the worse? – When you feel the gnawing heartburn of an enflamed conscience? – When your family relationships need some serious improvements? What if in every case it was the same Person? What if He was the expert in every field? That’s why it’s important to read His resume. These devotionals each day look at a different quality – and therefore qualification – of the Lord Jesus to be your ALL AND IN ALL. Whatever the question, problem, need…our Jesus is the Answer.
- Petition Mission – Prayer is heaven’s language, one of the core subjects in the Savior’s schooling. The Divine Handbook is filled with petitions already in that Spirit-inspired language, exactly matching God’s will. But there’s something more. We not only need the words in the Book; we need them in our hearts. Crises arise suddenly. Recall the night Jesus was on the mountain praying. His disciples were caught in the grip of a storm and were losing hope. It’s always false to assume that, if we can’t see the Lord, He doesn’t see us. Nothing is further from the truth. “For He commands and raises the stormy wind” (Ps 107:25). When “at their wits’ end, ” God’s people “cry out to the Lord in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses. He calms the storm” (vv 27-29). Note: He first commands, then calms, the storm. In between we learn to cry to Him. Prayer
