The Silence of God
Sir Robert Anderson Library Series
By: Sir Robert Anderson
“God has remained silent now for almost two thousand years. No new prophets have arisen and the voice of God has not orally spoken since He spoke to His Beloved Son. Why? Sir Robert Anderson approaches this problem with his usual methodical and complete investigation and findings.”~From the Publisher’s Preface
Sir Robert Anderson (1841-1918) was converted to Christ at the age of nineteen and almost immediately began to preach to his native Dublin where he trained at Trinity College for the leaga profession. He became an expert on criminal investigation. In 1888, he was summoned to Scotland Yard in London to serve as chief of the Criminal Investigation Department. In addition to his many duties with Scotland Yard, he also preached at various Bible conferences and wrote seventeen books.
