When boarding, Mrs. Albert Caldwell felt nervous and asked a seaman, “Is this ship really unsinkable?”-to which he confidently replied, “Madam, God Himself could not sink this ship.” The Titanic Tragedy shines a light on the agony and heroism of a few of those on board and gives vital lessons for each of us living today. Today, billions like you and I are traveling a more important route, not from Southampton to New York, but from time into eternity. Unlike the Titanic, there are no class distinctions. Our God sees only one class traveling this route and He places all of us “in the same boat”. But that isn’t the end of His story-not even close to it.
Arnot P. McIntee lives in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. While serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II Arnot accepted Christ as his Saviour and has since served the Lord in youth work, camps, gospel preaching and Bible teaching. He was president of the Family Bible Hour radio program which is still heard around the world. Prior to devoting himself to the full-time Christian service, Arnot was dean of the School of business of Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology.
