And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God and the books were opened…And the dead were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20:12-13
Foolish man casts judgment on God and His Son, but here is His final judgment on them. All previous judgments (His “strange work”, Isa. 28:21) were meted out to avert this final one. But continued disregard for divine mercy and grace will eventually yield these sad and horrible consequences. No one is exempt as both small and great stand before God to hear of the “things written in the books”. Dear reader, don’t ever think that you will escape this fate.
