Ruth was anxious to know whether Boaz would take her to be his wife. Naomi gave advice which every young person would do well to heed. “Sit still…until.” Never make a hasty decision concerning marriage. Wait upon the Lord “until” He guides you to the one He has chosen to be your life-long spouse. Remember He loves you and is more concerned than you could ever be about who you should marry. If you wait upon Him, He will guide you to the right person at the right time and you’ll meet that one in the right way. —David Croudace
