Exodus 17:1-16; Psalm 55:1-23; Acts 9:32-43

But if you show partiality, you commit sin. James 2:9 NKJV
In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.  Acts 10:34 NKJV

Prejudice and partiality, rendered “respecter of persons” (Acts 10:34) in the KJV, is a subtle sin which often creeps in unawares. It is so easy to judge someone because of their race, gender, social status, or simply because they’re different. Judging any type of class distinction is unacceptable to God who is no respecter of persons. If He was, who then would be saved? May we examine our hearts for any trace of this distasteful sin and simply accept and love others as God loves us—unconditionally. —E. V.

I will not judge another by what I think or see;
But ever be reminded what Jesus did for me. —E. V.
