When the time comes for general elections to be held, political parties of all persuasions make many promises to woo people to vote for them. Once elected excuses are given as to why they can’t be fulfilled. With God it is different. He cannot lie (Titus 1:2). Dear believer, here is one of God’s promises to enjoy today: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Heb. 13:5 NKJV). No matter what circumstances or trials you encounter, He is with you through them all. —Jim Paul
