Genesis 44:1-34; Psalm 22:1-31; Matthew 25:31-46

Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together…that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise. 1 Chronicles 16:35

It is one thing to hear about the glory of holy worship, and quite different to hear believers sing in a full and united voice of praise to the Lord. It is heartening to our souls to participate in worship and thanksgiving to God with others. Singing hymns together, hearing Scriptures read and listening to messages from God through His servants is important both to God and to us. He looks at His Lamb; I look at the One who died for me and we are both satisfied and blessed. —G. C. G.
