Numbers 28:1-31; Proverbs 24:1-34; Luke 2:1-21
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the Lord, ye his saints…they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. Psalm 34:8-10
This short passage reveals four attitudes of heart God desires from His people. He wants us to experientially perceive Him—to taste His kindness and experience that God is good. He wants us to trust Him, to release every aspect of our life to His leadership. He wants us to fear Him and give Him the respect He deserves. Finally He wants us to seek His Person day by day and build our relationship with Him. These are not too much to ask! It is our reasonable service (Rom. 12:1). —Ken Gross

In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way! —John Sammis
