Deuteronomy 17:1-18:8; Obadiah 1:1-21; Luke 11:14-36

As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness. Psalm 17:15 NKJV

We all face times of trial and difficulty as we travel on life’s journey. But as we face those times, all who have trusted Christ as Saviour have access into the very presence of Almighty God. David prayed earnestly that the Lord would “hear and attend his prayer” (v. 1), “hold up his steps and stop him from slipping” (v. 5) and “keep him as the apple of his eye” (v. 8). He ends his prayer with the full assurance that one day he would see the Lord’s face! David’s God
is our God. He delights when we come to Him with prayers that rejoice in our blessed assurance in Him. —Ray Jones

When with rapture I behold Him, Jesus Christ who died for me?  —Carrie Ellis Breck
