Dr. Don Nicholls and his wife Margot served as missionaries with Christian Brethren Churches in Malaysia and Taiwan from 1949 to 1988. From 1989 to 1996 they worked with GLO Ministries in a Training Program, in Tasmania. From 1997 to 2007 they taught English at GLO Sydney, and Bible courses in Far Eastern countries. Their medical ministries included clinical work and rehabilitation of post-poliomyelitis children and brain damaged children. They also developed Sunday Schools, and camps.

Max Inglis
Max Inglis pastored in southern Alberta before joining World Team, where his first four years were spent in the Caribbean. He then joined the publications department in Pennsylvania. He married Ena Thayer, they had two daughters and two sons. In 1966 he moved to Florida as Director of Publications. After his wife’s passing due to cancer in 1981, he spent three final years with World Team. During that time he married Donna Williamson. They moved back to Abbotsford, B.C. where Max became an associate pastor. From 1949 to present Max has been writing, editing, traveling and enjoying the many bonuses of serving Jesus.
Ellinore Ask
Ellinore Ask lives in Houston, MN. Ellinore came to Houston as a teacher, married a local farmer and has called it her home for over 60 years. She is a member of the Houston Baptist Church where her main interest has been Christian Education and Missions. She has four children, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Her husband, Carl, died in 2002. Many of her family live close enough for her to see and enjoy them often.
Arnot P. McIntee
Arnot P. McIntee lives just a few miles from the famous cataracts of Niagara. While serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II, he accepted Christ as his Saviour and has since served the Lord in youth work, camps, gospel preaching and Bible teaching. He was formerly president of the Family Bible Hour radio program heard on close to one hundred stations around the world and in eighteen languages. Prior to devoting himself to full-time Christian service, he was dean of the School of Business of Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology serving the Niagara Peninsula of Southern Ontario.
Dr. Malcolm White
Dr. Malcolm White was a native of Wales, UK, a retired Schoolmaster, and former Baptist Elder. He had a Doctorate in Theology. Malcolm took early retirement from teaching in the 90’s in order to return to ministry. He was a Teaching Elder of two small churches in South Wales near the end of his life. He and his wife Marina had been married for nearly 50 years before his passing. They had two daughters and three grandsons. In recent years he and Marina were Ministry Leaders for the Christian holiday firm, Master Sun, supervising tours in Greece and Italy as well as some islands. Dr. White went to be the Lord on August 15, 2010 .
Boushra Mikhael
Boushra Mikhael, MD, was born in Assyout, Egypt. He studied medicine in Egypt and England and eventually settled in Ottawa, Ontario Canada where he practiced as a urologist for 35 years. In addition to running a busy medical practice, Dr. Mikhael served as an elder at the Rideauview Bible Chapel and was chairman of Galilee Bible Camp and a board member of a variety of Christian ministries including Counsel Magazine, Ontario Workers and Elders Conference and Rise UP International conferences. After retirement he moved to Richmond Hill (Toronto), Ontario where he continued an active itinerant ministry at camps, conferences and local assemblies. Dr. Mikhael went to be with the Lord in January 2012. He leaves behind his wife Nadia, two married sons and three grandchildren.
Timothy Cross
Timothy Cross was born in Wales, of English parents, and spent some formative years living and worshipping in Northern Ireland. A graduate of the University of Wales, Dr Cross is an experienced preacher and the author of over twenty popular Christian books. His main interests include the original languages of the Bible and distance running.
William Burnett
William Burnett was born and raised in Scotland, and spent his entire professional life in the Oil refining industry. He was seconded to Canada by his employer in 1972, and accepted early retirement in 1994. He has been a “tentmaker,” – working in business, whilst ministering among the assemblies – since his late teen years. Early retirement has enabled him to undertake a much wider sphere of itinerant ministry throughout North America, and abroad. He also sits on the board of Counsel Magazine, and contributes regularly to various publications, including Uplook , Precious Seed, and the Choice Gleanings Calendar . He and his wife Beth reside in Oakville, Ontario, where they are in happy fellowship in Hopedale Assembly. They have three married sons, and eight grandchildren.
Archie Ross
Archie Ross was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1923, and gave his life to the Lord at age 13 in Sunday School. As a young man, he was involved in evangelistic outreach in and around Glasgow. He was later commended as a missionary from the Christian Brethren Union Hall Assembly and left for Africa in 1949. He married Virginia in 1951, and they spent 42 years serving the Lord together on the mission field, in Northern Rhodesia (during which time they had four children, Elizabeth, Jean, Ian and Moyra), in Southern Rhodesia, and lastly in South Africa. There he was involved in an Emmaus Correspondence ministry, preaching on Radio Pulpit (a branch of Trans-World Radio), and preaching and teaching in the assemblies. After Archie and Virginia left for the USA in 1991, Archie suffered a stroke and was confined to a wheelchair; he was still able to preach at the local assembly in Simi Valley, California. Archie and Virginia returned to Africa in 2002 and settled in Fish Hoek, South Africa until the Lord called him home in 2005.
Roy (J.R.) Littleproud
Roy Littleproud was born in Ontario, Canada in 1889. In 1927, Mr. Littleproud began a Saturday evening Bible study in his home every other week for some of the young men in his assembly. These meetings grew and continued for 14 years. Mr. Littleproud was also involved in the editing of Sunday School material which was later incorporated into the Modular Bible Lessons produced by Gospel Folio Press.
