Dr. Porter was caught in a “scurry syndrome” when he developed there principles and applied them in his life. They were so helpful he presented them first in time-management seminars, and now by popular request in print. Dr. Porter earned the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in chemical engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and has been an executive in research and development. He is currently a teaching elder at Valley Bible Church in San Ramon, California, and travels widely as a church growth consultant through the auspices of Interest Ministries in Wheaton, Illinois.
