Lord’s Day, April 11, 2021

Leviticus 17:1-18:30; Psalm 119:145-176; Mark 6:30-56

He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them. Luke 22:19
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them. Matthew 26:27

Lest we forget, the Lord Jesus took the bread, symbol of His broken body to remind us of the back that was furrowed and the face marred beyond recognition. Lest we forget, He took the cup, symbol of His shed blood to remind us of the blood that was His life poured out for us. Lest we forget, He uttered those precious words—“Do this in remembrance of Me” (1 Cor. 11:24 NKJV). Can we ever do anything else beside? Let us remember Him. —K. C. Ung

According to Thy gracious word, in meek humility,
This will I do, my dying Lord, I will remember Thee. —J. Montgomery
