Moses reminded Israel that “their rock is not as our Rock” (Deut. 32:31). The confidence of the unbeliever is based on shifting sand, not the solid Rock. How blessed to know that whether we can sense it or not, our God is doing a perfect work in each of His dear people. —Wm. H. Gustafson
