David acknowledges, that without doubt, day by day, the Lord’s goodness and mercy follow him—goodness to supply every need, mercy to forgive every sin. In light of this, it was his heart’s desire to daily seek God’s presence and to behold His delightfulness (as ‘beauty’ can be translated). What blessings are ours to enjoy!
