How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation. Hebrews 2:3, KJV

Sixteen-year-old Jonathon Vowles plunged 790 meters after his parachute failed to open properly. When he crashed through the skylight of an airfield hanger, his parachute lines caught on the frame of the broken skylight, and Jonathon was left dangling less than a meter above the concrete floor. Fortunately he escaped death. However, for those who in their folly reject Christ, there is no escape. “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). Will you escape today? —Arnot P. McIntee

Time is gliding swiftly by, Death and judgment draweth nigh,
To the arms of Jesus fly, Be in time! —Charles H. Mason
