How great is our salvation? As great as our God! It is great because the great God is its Author, before whom the nations of the earth are counted as nothing (Isaiah 40:12-17). It is great because of what it does: saves us from past, present, and future sins; saves us from the penalty of sin, the power of sin, and, finally, the presence of sin. It is great because it saves sinners, rebels, hopeless cases, depraved and perverse members of a condemned race, and makes sons and worshipers out of them. Do you have this great salvation?
