James H. Large

James H. Large is a well known Bible Teacher and writer, who has spent over 40 years preaching and teaching throughout the British Isles.  He was the first editor of the magazine Precious Seed, and now lives at a Christian Eventide Home in Scotland.

Donald Cameron

Donald Cameron has for many years been a contributor to Prophetic Witness and is a member of the Council of Prophetic Witness Movement International and a former Council member of the Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Scripture Readers’ Association. He is also the author of The Minor Prophets and the End Times.

Sir Robert Anderson

While at Scotland Yard, Irish police official and religious scholar Sir Robert Anderson (1841-1918) helped investigate the Jack the Ripper murders, but he is best remembered for his works of Bible study, including The Coming Prince and The Silence of God.

James L Crookes

James L Crookes is a retired civil servant, living in Northern Ireland. He was converted in 1937, and has been in assembly fellowship since then. He served in the RAF from 1939 to 1946, four of those years being in Egypt. Along with his professional activities and his involvement in Christian work, Crookes studied singing after the war and for several years broadcast as a bass soloist on the BBC. He is married with one daughter and four sons, all of them Christians.

John de Silva

John de Silva is a preacher and teacher of God’s Word in the assemblies in Victoria, Australia, and has also served in other countries. Saved while a teenager, he now takes a particular interest in the spiritual direction of young believers and also tertiary education students, working among them as a senior lecturer in Economics. In addition to several professional publications, he has recently published a Christian biography called Saved to Serve, the proceeds of which are being used to provide Bibles for the needy.

Thomas Newberry

Thomas Newberry was born to believing parents in 1811. He was born again at a young age. An English Bible scholar and writer, Newberry is most well known for his interlinear Englishman’s Bible. He devoted a significant amount of his life to studying the Bible, teaching alongside Robert Chapman, George Mueller and, contributing articles to Christian publications.

John Ritchie

John Ritchie (1857-1930) was a well known and much loved preacher and teacher among the Lord’s people especially in Scotland, although his ministry took him throughout the UK. He was a prolific writer of books, pamphlets, and tracts on many subjects; he edited several magazines for young and old, among them The Believer’s Magazine; he founded the publishing house in Kilmarnock which bears his name. He has a shepherd heart and a special interest in helping young believers.

Sam Laughlin

Sam Laughlin was born and brought up in the city of Glasgow in the districts of Kinning Park and Plantation.  When WW2 began, he was evacuated to his grandfather’s farm in Co. Tyrone in Northern Ireland. Soon he was called up to the army and spent the next four formative years in the Far East. Returning home, he resumed his apprenticeship in a Glasgow Shipyard where he remained for 25 years. After the decline of the shipyards in Glasgow, Sam worked in a large city advertising agency. When he retired from secular work, the Lord had a new work for Sam to do: visiting the ships that dock in Glasgow.

Sam Gordon

Sam Gordon has an international Bible teaching ministry with Messianic Testimony whose aim is to share the gospel with Jewish people worldwide. As their Executive Director, Sam is known as a passionate and enthusiastic communicator of biblical truth.

Tom Glover

Tom Glover served the Lord as an evangelist and Bible teacher with the Movement for World Evangelisation from 1981-1987. During that period he was also a part-time staff member of the Bible Training Institute, Glasgow. Tom is currently engaged in a Bible teaching and writing ministry.
