Everyday Publications Inc Books
Did you know that Gospel Folio Press carries all of Everyday Publications Inc.’s book titles for sale in North America?
Everyday Publications Inc (EPI) is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1964 by Dr. R.E. Harlow and his wife, Gertrud. It began as a small publishing work to help provide Bible study materials for believers in Africa.
While serving in as missionaries in Africa in the 1940’s and ’50’s, the Harlows noted the desperate need for Bible study materials for the less educated believers in Africa. Most natives did not have the depth of English language proficiency required to understand the academic level Bible study material that existed at that time. Dr. Harlow, co-founder of Emmaus Bible School as well as the Emmaus Correspondence Courses, soon adopted a method of writing called Everyday English. It was based on the concept of short, uncluttered sentences which were easier to understand and very translatable. A complete set of commentaries on the Bible now exists in Everyday English.
Translation work has also become a large part of EPI as books originally written in Everyday English have been translated into other languages for new believers. EPI, now based in Port Colborne, ON, CA, prints many books in French, Portugese, Spanish and Swahili.
Gospel Folio Press is pleased to be able to help distribute EPI’s books to those who can benefit from their solid Bible study material. All of EPI’s English titles are available for order from Gospel Folio Press as well as some of their Spanish titles too. A handful of their titles include:

Excerpt:
” Few can disagree with the view that Calvinism is one of the most important theological movements in the history of the Christian church. Whether one is a Calvinist or a not, all must acknowledge that Calvinism has claimed an important and influential role in molding and shaping the church for the last five hundred years…Calvinism can determine one’s views on politics, government, the Christian life, the study of eschatology, the nature of God, the character of man…” (pg. 15)
“Does theology have consequences? Of course!
“The theological schools of Calvinism and Dispensationalism both influence our understanding of important doctrines of the Bible. This book contrasts crucial issues in the current debate between the two. Its major focus is on the consequences of Calvinism.
“Some major topics include:
- Is God the author of sin?
- The sovereignty of God
- “One-naturism”
- Dispensationalism and antinomianism
- What does the Bible teach about election?
“Limiting Omnipotence discusses these concerns and issues in a language that anyone can understand, quoting freely from Scripture.” ~From back cover
GFP Book Tables
Did you know that Gospel Folio Press supplies book tables to various conferences and events in the Southern Ontario area and beyond?
Gospel Folio Press’s mandate is to deliver quality Christian material into the hands of Bible students and readers as well as church leadership and everyone in between. GFP material can be obtained in three ways:
1) At our bookstore in Port Colborne, Ontario (304 Killaly St W).
2) Online at our webstore (shop.www.gospelfolio.com).
3) At conferences and events where a book table is provided.
The advantages to buying material at a conference book table are several:
-You can handle the book in person before your purchase. This means you know exactly the product you are getting. (We do our best to keep our webstore updated with book dimensions, pages, and other important information, but there is nothing like browsing through a book before buying it.)
-There is no tax added to the price of books at book tables. The price on the book is what you pay. (GFP absorbs the cost of taxes.)
-Book table prices are often discounted, in some cases quite significantly.
-Finally, buying books at book tables saves our customers shipping and handling fees.
So please contact GFP if your fellowship or conference would benefit from having a book table available.

John Lennox’s praise for Gooding’s “The Riches of Divine Wisdom”
“I anticipate that this book will rapidly become an essential resource for those seeking to understand and enjoy the way in which the New Testament unfolds the meaning of the Old Testament. David Gooding’s analysis of texts that are often found difficult is both penetrating and accessible. I have personally found the material contained here extraordinarily helpful.”

“Some years back I got hold of David Gooding’s An Unshakeable Kingdom and read it with much profit and stimulation, as the exclamation marks and nota benes in the margins attest. This happy experience also moved me to lay my hands on every other Gooding publication I could find. Here then is a guide to Hebrews written with the expertise of the scholar, the clarity of the expositor, and the heart-beat of the preacher; like baby bear’s porridge, it is ‘just right.’”
Reviews of “True to the Faith”

“The last time I preached through Acts, True to the Faith was constantly at my side. My copy is marked up on every page—some highlighting, some pencil, some ink, different colors of ink, indicating it has been consulted ‘divers and sundry’ times. With good reason. Gooding not only explains, he stimulates thinking and stirs gratitude. Why any preacher would preach from Acts and not have Gooding at his elbow is beyond me.”
—Dr Lindsay Brown, International Director of the Lausanne Movement
