Living in our age of compromise, it is often not politically correct to take a Christian stand on various issues. But we need to maintain distinct lines of demarcation when opportunities to “cooperate” with the world on social issues are brought up. The apostle Paul reminds us to “Come out…and be ye separate” (2 Cor. 6:17). Separation will never win a popularity contest, but it will please and honour God. —Wm. H. Gustafson
