Confidence in the Lord is never misplaced. The wilderness-era Israelites were overly concerned with their enemies, especially the giants. Rather than look at their foes’ height, Caleb and Joshua remembered the size of their God. The highest heaven cannot contain Him (1 Kgs. 8:27); He is immense in His power, wisdom, and glory.
