DAILY READINGS: Deut. 30:1-31:13; Amos 9:1-15; Luke 16:1-31

Showing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done…that they should make them known to their children…That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God. Psalm 78:4-5, 7

The older generation has the tremendous privilege and responsibility to “train up a child in the way he should go” (Prov. 22:6). Whether our sphere of influence is in the home or the local church, it is incumbent
upon us to reach that younger generation with the gospel and then to give them a biblical foundation on which to build their lives. —W. H. G.
