Numbers 19:1-22; Proverbs 16:1-33; 2 Peter 3:1-18

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; what is man? Psalm 8:3-4

Clearly the psalmist had the ability, like us, to focus his attention upon creation, enabling him to reflect, analyze and ask questions about the physical world and especially about the seemingly infinite majesty of the cosmos. Atheism claims that such marvelous wonders owe their existence to lifeless matter but surely it is more reasonable to believe that a living, intelligent and superior reality brought such marvels into existence. God, Himself, gave us the capacity to view, with questioning awe, the glory of creation.  —Paul Young
