2 Kings 2:1-25; Jeremiah 35:1-19; Hebrews 7:1-28

I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me. John 17:6
But [you were redeemed] with the precious blood of Christ. 1 Peter 1:19

Our Saviour died for the sins of the whole world. In that sense He made salvation and forgiveness available to “whosoever will”. But that salvation became ours when we trusted Him and made His forgiving work our own. When we received everlasting life, God separated us out of the world and we entered the flock of the Great Shepherd. What a privilege for us to praise and worship Him today for all His wonderful work for us. —Ken Gross

Redeemed—how I love to proclaim it!
